10th of Tevet Fast Day

Today (1/1/15) is the 10th of Tevet  on the Hebraic calendar, which is the calendar started by God and has never changed. It is called the Hebraic or Jewish calendar because the Jews were entrusted in keeping the calendar accurate throughout their challenged history.

The 8th, 9th and 10th of Tevet have great historical significance and all of these 3 dates are dates remembered with fasting.

On the 8th of Tevet 132 BC,  the Greek King Ptolemy II had 72 (6 from each of the 12 Tribes) translate the Torah into Greek. It became know as the Septuagint. Following the translation from Hebrew to Greek, there was 3 days of total darkness over the land (Tevet 8-10). It is believed that the darkness was due to the fact that the Torah would no longer be treated with great reverence and holiness, but with the Greek mindset that everything had to be reasoned out and understood mentally. At this time the Holy Torah was downgraded, from the supernatural (spiritual) to the natural (mental).

On the 9th of Tevet, 4th Century BC, Ezra the scribe died. He was the founder of the Great Assembly, a body of 120 prophets and sages who established important matters like the standard text found in Jewish prayer books today.

On the 10th of Tevet, 587 BC, Babylonia King Nebuchadnezzar began his siege of Jerusalem. Actually, there was little damage on that first day and no Jews were killed, yet it began a chain of disasters which ended with the destruction of the Holy Temple seven months later on the 9th of Av. The 10th of Tevet is still observed today by Jews as a public fast day, as mentioned by the prophet Zechariah (8:19).

This is a time to draw close to God, to humble ourselves before Him and bring back the holy fear of God into our lives. So many are beginning their January 1st New Year with reading the Bible in a Year program, fasting or journaling to get closer to God. I think it is amazing that these dates are together to bring us together on this Shemitah Year.

Kislev 5775 – The Month of Dreams

November 22, 2014 at sundown began the Hebrew month of Kislev. It is the 9th month on the sacred calendar that counts the months and the 3rd month on the civil calendar that marks the year. The name Kislev comes from a Hebrew word that means ‘security, hope or trust’.

Each month on the Jewish calendar has a Hebrew letter, Constellation and Tribe associated with it. This month all three of those have to do with ‘security, hope and trust’!! Kislev is also known as “A Month of Hope”.

The Torah portions for the month of Kislev include 9 of the 10 dreams of Genesis. All are from the Throne of God and carry heavenly strategies that help us get back into alignment with His purpose for each of us.

  • Jacob (2) ladder to heaven, cattle mating
  • Laban (1) don’t speak to Jacob good or bad
  • Joseph (2) sheaves and stars bowing
  • Butler (1) vine with 3 branches
  • Baker (1) 3 baskets on his head
  • Pharaoh (2) 7 good ears devoured by 7 thin ears

Each of us have thoughts constantly going through our minds that are either positive or negative. In the times we are living in we need to purpose to be positive based on what the Word of God says. Jeremiah 29:11says that our Heavenly Father has a good plans and a good future for each of us. Day Dream on purpose that things are going to turn around in your life.

  • When Dottie Osteen was told she had a short time to live she put pictures of herself with scriptures and kept seeing herself living and strong. She is alive today and ministers at Lakewood Church in Houston.
  • When Gloria Copeland had nothing but bills she began a scrapbook of pictures of what her home would look like and began to dream about her new home. She is now living in her dream home.
  • When Dr Cho of South Korea had nothing he began to dream on purpose, visualizing about his ministry. Little by little his nothing became one of the largest churches in the world.

What can you lose? Begin a dream book or a dream board and dare to dream. Keep a journal by your bed and expect Throne Room strategies in this divinely ordered month when heavenly dreams are in season!

Kislev is also known as the month of darkness, when the day become shorter and the nights of darkness longer. The Festival of Lights, aka Hanukkah, begins in this month. Hanukkah is a great time to rekindle and light up your faith. Hanukkah is the 8 day remembrance celebration of when the Maccabees rebelled against Antiochus IV Epiphanes and got the Temple back. A great miracle happened 1 day’s purified oil for the Menorah lasted 8 days, long enough to refine more holy oil. Hanukkah always begins on the 15th of Kislev and ends on the 2nd of Tevet, being the only Holy Day to join 2 months.

LETTER: Samech. This is the 15th letter of the Hebrew Aleph Bet and has the numerical value of 60. When I think of 60 I think of the clock of 60 minutes. We have been given another hour today as we turned our clock back! We don’t have to redo the past but we have a fresh start! The letter literally means ‘trust, complete, support or coming full circle’. Dare to trust God’s Word completely that your circumstances are about to shift and your best is yet to come!

CONSTELLATION: Sagittarius, ‘the archer’.  This represents our Redeemer has already triumphed and is coming back as the Son of God & Son of Man with great quickness. (Rev 6:2)Dare to dream that your turnaround victory has already been won and will come quickly.

TRIBE: Benjamin, represents Abundant Grace.

  • 12th son of Jacob
  • Only son born in the Promised Land
  • Spoiled, protected and provisions freely provided
  • 5 times more food and clothing given to him in Egypt
  • King Saul, Paul the Apostle and Queen Esther all from the Tribe of Benjamin
  • Began his life with selfishness, but ended his life as a great giver

Dare to dream that you are going to be lavished and spoiled with heavenly grace this month and everything is shifting to your favor. A video from the evil one has been playing in your head that you will die, your will be homeless, you are fat and will always be fat, you are a failure, nobody likes you, etc.

Read the promises written in our Father’s love letter to us and dare to dream that your best days are coming quickly. Your children are coming home, your back wages are being restored, your house is supernaturally paid off and you are giving testimony to your divine healing!! JUST DARE TO DREAM & DREAM BIG.

DON’T LIMIT GOD WITH YOUR SMALL THINKING!!

 

Blood Moon October 8

The 2nd Blood Moon of this Blood Moon Tetrad over the Feast Days of the Lord on Passover and Tabernacles of 2014 will be seen at 6:25am EDT and end at 7:24 EDT according to NASA. This will be the last total lunar eclipse of 2014.  (5:25-6:24 CST)

This siting will be VERY RARE, since some areas will be able to see the full eclipse of the Moon as the Sun rises. This is called a “senenelion“, meaning the sun and eclipsed moon can be seen at the same time in some areas. According to geometry, this cannot happen. Well, we are living in very unusual times.

Keep looking up! I am praying for clear skies and plan to watch it from the Gulf of Mexico.

Sky View on Eve of Day of Atonement

Tonight was the sun was setting on Yom Kippur, the feast of Day of Atonement, I was looking at the waxing moon. I took this photo with the SkyViewApp on my IPhone. The moon is resting on Capricorn, the “Sea Goat”. Capricorn represents ‘atonement’ and shows the Church and our benefits purchased at a great price.

Yom Kippur Eve 2014The Sea Goat appears to be dying with its head down, the right leg folded under the body and seems unable to rise with the left. The other part of the body is like a fish that is full of life.

  • In the Goat, we have the Atoning sacrifice as Jesus was that ‘scape goat’, sin offering
  • In the Fish we have the people for whom the atonement was made

The Egyptian name is Hu-perius, which means ‘the place of the sacrifice’. The Hebrew and Arabic name for the sign is Gedi, the ‘kid cut off‘ or ‘cut off‘. Capricorn is the Latin name and means ‘goat‘.

In the Old Testament, goats were often used for the sacrifice.

  • Leviticus 10:16, “Then Moses made careful inquiry about the goat of the sin offering, and there it was-burned up.”
  • Leviticus 9:3, “And to the children of Israel you shall speak, saying, ‘take a kid of the goats as a sin offering.”

On the Day of Atonement, there would be two goats. The High Priest would cast lots over the two goats. The High Priest would cast lots over the two goats to determine which would be the scapegoat who was called ‘azazel’ in Hebrew.

  • Leviticus 17:7-10, 22, “The goat shall bear on itself all their iniquities to an uninhabited land; and he shall release the goat in the wilderness.”
  • The sins were carried away with the goat, and when the goat was pushed over the cliff, the scarlet cord that was tied onto the door of the Temple would turn white. (Until the time of Jesus, when it never turned white again) Isaiah 1:18
  • Satan worshipers use a goat in satanic worship even today, perverting the real meaning.

The chief stars of the 51 stars that make up this constellation are:

  • Al Gedi – ‘the kid or goat’
  • Deneb Al Gedi – ‘the sacrifice cometh’
  • Dabih – ‘the sacrifice slain’
  • Ma’asad- ‘the slaying’
  • Sa’ad al Naschira – ‘the record of the cutting off’

The tail of the goat is the tail of the fish

  • A living fish proceeds from a dead goat (out of death proceeds life)
  • John 3:5, “Jesus answered, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.'”
  • The Fish relates to the Redeemed, born again Christians in their new birth

Psalm 19:1, The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. (2) Day unto day utters speech,
and night unto night reveals knowledge. (3) There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard.

 

 

First Week Recap of the Shemitah Year

Rabbi Jonathan Cahn wrote, “The Shemitah’s opening can mark the beginning of change and the shifting of momentum. At the same time, if a change or shifting should take place at this point, more often than not it tends to constitute a firstfruit, a foreshadow of what lies ahead, a subtle trace in comparison to what comes at the end. If there is a change at this point, its coming may or may not be noticeable at first. The general pattern is this: As the Shemitah progresses, and particularly, as it nears its end, its intensity increases.” (The Mystery of the Shemitah, Johnathan Cahn, Front Line Books, pg 238)

This current Shemitah Year (7 year land rest of Leviticus 25:4) began last week, September 24 at sundown and will continue until September 13, 2015. The last 2 Shemitah years ( 9/30/2000 – 9/17/2001  and  9/13/2007 – 9/28/2008) on the Hebraic calendar have ended with incredible loss of the stock market value in Wall Street. The last day of the Shemitah Year in 2001 saw a stock market loss of 684 points and the last day of the Shemitah Year in 2008 closed with a 777 point loss. The 2008 loss began the Great Recession and has shook the world’s economies with not one nation left untouched financially .

I would like to highlight the incredible first week of this current Shemitah Year:

  • Day 1- September 25, US Attorney General Eric Holder resigned.
  • Day 2- September 26, Liberian tourist to American goes to Dallas hospital with Ebola symptoms- sent home with antibiotics
  • Day 2 – September 26, Moore OK, man beheads woman with a knife
  • Day 4 – September 28, First case of Ebola in the US reported in Dallas, TX
  • Day 5 – September 29, PM Benjamin Netanyahu speaks to General Assembly at United Nations
  • Day 6 – September 30, Congress grills Secret Service Director, Julia Pierson on security breaches, with a major breach exposed following the hearing
  • Day 7 – October 1, PM Benjamin Netanyahu met with President Obama in the White House
  • Day 7 – October 1, Secret Service Director, Julia Pierson resigns following full details of security breaches for the White House and President
  • Day 7 – October 1, The Dow Jones industrial average plunged 238.19 points, or 1.4%, to 16,804.71. The S&P 500 dropped 26.13 points, or 1.3%, to 1946.16 and the Nasdaq composite skidded 71.30 points, or 1.6%, to 4422.09. October also makes investors uneasy, as it is a month known for major stock market crashes in 1929 and 1987.

It looks to me that the Shemitah Year is beginning with a change, shifting and uncovering of things hidden in the darkness. Keep looking up!

October 2014 Eclipses

YES!! October has 2 Eclipses and both can be seen from North America. October 8th will have a full blood moon and October 23rd will have a partial Solar Eclipse.

The April 15th Blood Moon (lunar eclipse) totally covered the brightest star in Virgo, which is called Spica in Latin. The Hebrew name is Tsemech and means Branch, representing the Messiah. I remember looking in my SkyView AP on my iPhone and seeing the lineup of planets and constellations. I was so excited I could not sleep the rest of the night!

Psalms 19:1-6 tell of how the heavens speak and show knowledge. What I experienced that night was amazing! Understanding the Constellations that Creator God planned for this tells the whole story of what he is doing on the earth right now. The Heavens ‘declare’ the glory of God!

October 8, 2014 we will see (weather permitting) the Blood Moon larger than the April 15 Blood Moon. Once it reaches totality, it will be Blood Red for approximately 59 minutes so you can set your alarms and rise early . Maybe you can have your devotions in the back yard, experiencing the incredible, awesome, majesty, greatness and glory of God!

God had an original intent of each constellation as together they tell the story of Jesus’ First coming, the Church Age and His Second Coming. April 15th, the Total Lunar Eclipse covered Book One of the 3 books of Heaven.How do they tell the story? God named all the stars. Each constellation (fixed stars) tell the story by the name God revealed to Adam, Seth and Enoch. The story begins at the brightest star and goes through each star like a chapter in the book.

Below I have listed the main 12 Constellations, each having 3 associated constellations. I have taken my study from the great book by E.W. Bullinger, “The Witness of the Stars”.

  • Book One: Virgo, Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius: They all tell of Jesus’ birth and The Sufferings of Christ
  • Book Two: Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces and Aries: They tell the story of the Redeemed Church
  • Book Three: Taurus, Gemini, Cancer and Leo: They tell of the Glory of the Second Coming of Christ

TRULY AMAZING! The October Blood Moon is from Book Two of the story in the heavens! Below are the constellations involved in the great preview chart from Astronomy.com:

  • Eridanus (The River of the Judge) Wrath breaking forth for His enemies (associated with Taurus the Bull of Book Three)
  • Aries (The Lamb or Ram) The Lamb that was slain, prepared for victory
  • Cetus (The Sea Monster) The great enemy of the bound (associated with Aries the Lamb)
  • Pisces (The Fishes) The Redeemed blessed though bound- the fullness of the Church after the Resurrection of Christ
  • Andromeda (The Chained Woman) The Redeemed in her bondage and affliction (associated with Pisces, the Fishes)
  • Pegasus (The Winged Horse) The blessings coming quickly (associated with Aquarius) ENIF is an orange supergiant star in the nose of the horse.
  • Aquarius (The Water Bearer) The Living waters of blessing poured forth for the Redeemed! (I say “Let it Rain Jesus! We need a great awakening!!”)

I feel like the announcer on the movie SeaBiscuit, “Stop the presses, stop the presses!” Remember how excited he was? That is how I felt when I saw the alignment of the October 8th Blood Moon was over Pisces, on the night of the eve of the Feast of Tabernacles!!!

The sign of Pisces has always been interpreted as the nation of Israel. History records that 3 years before the birth of Moses, Jupiter (King Planet) and Saturn (Shabbatai, Lord of the Sabbath) were in conjunction with Pisces (representing the Hebrews, then nation of Israel). Josephus and other historians affirm that Egyptian astronomers interpreted the sign as an indicator that a great man would be born among the Jews.

Why 2 fishes? Because Abraham knew there was a heavenly city he belonged to, but was used of God on this earth. The same with the Church, the Body of Christ. I Peter 2:11 tells us we are ‘foreigners and aliens here”. Our citizenship is in heaven. One of the fishes is swimming towards the North Polar Star and the other fish is on the line of the ecliptic path of the Sun.

The Fishes are tied together by a cord, the constellation called Al Risha, a common bond.  Ephesians 2 tells us that the Church and the Jews are joined together to make “One New Man!” From what I see, the heavens are declaring that the Church will stand strong with Israel, with heavenly help from the hosts of Heaven. Jesus, the Lord of Hosts, Jehovah Sabbaoth will be directing the greatest move of God in history.  Wait and see! The Bible promises a great victory and the heavens declare with signs!

Pisces the Fishes

The Partial Solar Eclipse of October 23rd will be seen best in the northern parts of North America (viewing a 60% eclipse)  but all in North American will be able to view it. I live in Texas, by NASA, and we will see it from begin at 4:48 pm with maximum at 5:53pm and should see a 20-40% eclipse.

Thursday, October 23rd I will be ministering in Minneapolis so I should be part of the 60% eclipse viewers.

October 23rd is Tishri 29 on the Hebraic calendar. In Israel it will already be Tishri 30, the anniversary of the Knesset building in Jerusalem.  In 1958, the foundation stone was laid for Israel’s Knesset building in Jerusalem. The Knesset is composed of 120 members, the same size as the Great Assembly (“Knesset HaGedola”) that served as the rabbinical body during the Second Temple era. (The Great Assembly redacted the biblical books Ezekiel, Daniel and Esther, and composed many prayers such as the Amidah.) Today, the Israeli Knesset is known as a bastion of democracy in the Middle East, with women, Arabs, and other minorities represented. (Aish.com)

FYI- the eve of the 24th begins the Islam New Year.

Also the eve of Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan, the month of the Flood. Noah and his family entered the Ark on day 10 of Cheshvan. 7 days later it began to rain for 40 days and 40 nights. One year later on Cheshvan 27, the flood waters finally subsided and Noah, his family and the animals left the Ark. I always think of Jesus telling us His 2nd coming would be ‘like the days of Noah”.

Super Moon August 10th – Erev Tu B’ Av

There will be a Super Full Moon August 10, 2014 at 2 P.M. EDT. (Not a Blood Moon) This Summer is very unusual for the fact there are 3 super moons in a row. The first was  July 12, next will be August 10, and last will September 9.  This astronomy event is called a ‘perigee moon’, when the moon is closer to the earth and the new or full moon appears to be larger than normal. Perigee means ‘closest to the earth’.

What makes the event of August 10 spectacular is that it will become full the same hour as the perigee moon. NASA says this makes it an extra-super moon!

Eve of Tu B’ Av Super Moon – This is the 15th day of the Hebraic month of Av. The 9th of Av is the saddest day of the year and the 15th of Av is known as the happiest. I find this incredible that this “extra-super moon” this year will happen as the evening begins a new day over Israel. This is called  of the “Day of Love”, the “Jewish Valentine’s Day“. Below is the historical events of the 15th of Av.

  • On the 40th year in the Wilderness they realized that no one had died on the 9th of Av that year.  Great celebration began as they realized their wandering days were over and the death sentence for the rebels was over. (Numbers 14:26-38)
    • Yom Kippur symbolizes God’s forgiveness to Israel for the sin of the Golden Calf
    • Tu B’Av symbolizes the forgiveness of believing the evil report of the 10 spies
  • The Talmud records that many years ago the “daughters of Jerusalem would go dance in the vineyards” on the 15th of Av, and “whoever did not have a wife would go there” to find himself a bride. (Chabad.org, Ta’anit Chapter 4)
  • On this day ban of only sons inheriting the Promised Land property given to their Tribe. (Nu 36:8-9). This ban was lifted on the 15th of Av after the first generation that entered the Promised Land under Joshua.
  • Judges 19-21, the Tribe of Benjamin was prohibited from marrying daughters outside their tribe because of the incident of homosexual Benjamites raping the Levite’s concubine.  This led to 25,100 men from the Tribe of Benjamin dying in on day (20:35) The few remaining Benjamites were allowed to take one of the dancing virgins on the 15th of Av, as the virgins danced in white in the forest.
  • During the Second Temple period, wood was rare and had to be brought from far away. The last day that wood was brought for storage over the winter months was Tu B’ Av and then they would celebrate, breaking the ax and burning it.
  • 132 BC, Simon bar Kokhba led a revolt against the Roman Empire. On Tu B’Av, the Romans permitted the bodies to be buried. MIRACLE- God had preserved the 100,000 bodes of the brave men from decaying in the summer heat from the 9th of Av to the 15th of Av.

FYI- The Tabernacles Blood moon of October 8 will be 5 times larger for viewing than April 15 Passover Blood Moon.

2015 there will be 6 super moons! WOW! September 28, 2015 will be a Super Blood Moon that will be seen over Israel during Tabernacles.

Signs in the Heavens speak ‘Arise My Love’

Thursday, July 31st, I had been to a great afternoon prayer meeting. When I got home I was resting on the sofa and felt ‘compelled’ to pick up my iPhone and turn on the SkyView ap. I pointed it west and the photos below are of what I saw. Keep in mind that it was not dark yet, I was in my living room and still I got these clear shots on my iPhone!

What did I see that excited me? First allow me to explain the original Hebraic signs for each wandering and fixed stars involved. There are originally  7 wandering planets (Sun, Moon, Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, Saturn and Mars). In Creation they formed a heavenly menorah. There were 12 original Constellations (fixed stars) and 36 minor constellations tell our God’s plans for Jesus in the heavenlies.

CANCER- ‘the Crab’

  • The Arabic name is Al Sartan, which means ‘who holds or binds’ and could be understood  in Hebrew  as ‘to bind together’
  • There original stars in Hebrew tell a story of this constellation as being a shelter, hiding place, assembly
  • In the center of the Crab is a cluster of stars called Praesepe, which mean a multitude or offspring. Astronomers call it  ‘The Beehive’.
  • To me this heavenly sign is of the Church– the Church has a heavenly home where they are seated with Christ and yet dwell on this earth. The Crab lives in 2 different elements: water and sand.
  • Cancer and her deacons tell the story of the Church being securely guided and held and it ends with the Rapture (Argo, the Ship)

In The Crab we see 3 of the Wandering Star Planets.

  • The Sun – Chamah, representing the Light, revelation
  • Jupiter – Tzedek, which means righteousness. Jupiter is the largest planet, called the King planet, and represents the nation of Israel, King David, Messiah and Bridegroom.
  • Mercury – Kochav, the Sun star, Messenger Star. (it is seen to the bottom left of Jupiter above)

GEMINI – ‘The Twins’

  • The Hebrew name is Thaumin, and means ‘united’; the Coptic name is Pi-Mahi, ‘the united, the brotherhood’
  • The Greeks called them Apollo and Hercules. In Latin they were called Castor and Pollux, as in the name of the vessel in which Paul sailed in the Book of Acts.
  • This is a picture of the dual nature of Christ
  • This is also a portrayal of the One New Man in Christ (Ephesians 2:15)

The Twin on the left is holding the Planet Venus!

  • Venus is Nogah in Hebrew and means brightness or brilliance, known as the Morning Star. This planet represents the Bride of the Messiah

So what did I see in this heavenly message? I saw the Church in heavenly places  (Crab- ‘united’) and the light (Sun) shining on the Bridegroom (Jupiter)  to send a message (Mercury)  to the Bride (Venus) , in the One New Man (Gemini) to “Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away!” (Songs 2:13)

It is time for the Bride to get herself ready. “Arise (kum), shine: for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.” (Isaiah 60:1)

It’s Harvest Time Church! It’s time for the Third Great Awakening! Time for the virgins to get their lamps ready to meet the Bridegroom! (Matthew 25:1-13)

Eight Year Anniversary of Israel-Lebanon War

July 12, 2006 is a date I will not forget. Dr Hilton Sutton was speaking at a morning session of the World Ministry Fellowship convocation and someone came in and said we needed to pray for Israel, they just went to war with Lebanon. That war with Lebanon lasted 34 days.

I went up to my room after prayer and checked the Hebraic calendar. It was Tammuz 17, the anniversary of the sin of the Golden Calf in the Wilderness. What is the Hebrew word for coincidence? There is none! I knew the war beginning on the first day of the dreaded 21 day period of The Dire Straits was significant and would set up a chain of events that would escalate into the Last Days. The Lebanon  was with the terrorist organization Hezbollah. The current Gaza barrage of rockets is from Hamas. Different names, but both want to wipe Israel off the map.
