I Heard “Keep the Blood Fresh”

I did not just hear Holy Spirit say this once, but several times this past week. He was warning about the Blood of Jesus and keeping our faith strong in the Blood of Jesus. Rev 12:11 speaks of the last of the Last Days and into the Tribulation, “And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].” (AMPC)

The Blood of Jesus is Eternal (Lamb slain from the foundation of the world) and the power flows by the Eternal Spirit. (Hebrews 9:14) The Blood of Jesus, that is now on the heavenly Mercy Seat, is eternal and never will lose its power. HOWEVER, we can lose our faith in the Blood by neglect and wrong teaching. Faith comes by hearing and hearing and hearing the Word of God!! But the problem with many churches is that they do not want to offend anyone so they have taken anything about the Blood of Jesus out of their hymnals, teaching, preaching, praying or singing. Therefore, those churches are void of power, no miracles, signs and wonders. The have totally forgotten that the Spirit follows the Blood!!

Hebrews 10:29, “Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?” (NKJV) The King James Version states ‘unholy thing‘ instead of ‘common’. I think the AMPC states it the best, “How much worse (sterner and heavier) punishment do you suppose he will be judged to deserve who has spurned and [thus] trampled underfoot the Son of God, and who has considered the covenant blood by which he was consecrated common and unhallowed, thus profaning it and insulting and outraging the [Holy] Spirit [Who imparts] grace (the unmerited favor and blessing of God)?”

Wow! The Greek word enybrizō means ‘insult’ is only used 1 time in the Bible and expresses how the Trinity feels about the Blood of Jesus! How do you insult, proface and outrage Holy Spirit? By treating the Blood of Jesus as ‘common’, ‘unholy’. The Greek word for common here is koinos and means ‘common i.e. ordinary, belonging to generality; by the Jews, unhallowed, profane, Levitically unclean’.

Acts 10:15, “And a voice spoke to him a second time, ‘What God has cleansed you must not call common.’” (Koino’o, defiled) We must keep the communion with the Body and Blood of Jesus as fresh and personal. Fellowship with Him, thank Him for what He has done for you with His death, burial and resurrection.

We are to treat the WORD OF GOD as FRESH BREAD every day, keeping it full of power. When you treat communion as ordinary, common, unholy with tradition only (only to take it in church once a month), power is lost. (read Mark 7:6-16 VOICE Translation) Anything that you do as only tradition is void of power.

In the Hebrew writing, to be defiled is to be made common, stained, made dirty and wounded. In the natural if you are wounded and your get dirt on it, your wound becomes infected. You may get victory in meetings, but when you get home you crash and burn. This is why communion needs to be part of our devotional time. DAILY!

I was on several prayer calls this morning and they all included communion time. You don’t need a priest or minister to serve you. Beni Johnson has an amazing book called “The Power of Communion”, accessing miracles through the Body and Blood of Jesus. She states that she takes communion several times a day. I highly recommend that book. I highly recommend so many Blood of Jesus books, they keep the FAITH for the BLOOD OF JESUS FRESH!!!
