First of all, there is so much confusion about this star but I am thankful that people are focusing on the Birth of Jesus Christ at this time of year instead of Santa and COVID19. Confusing debates such as : was Saturn and Jupiter what the Magi saw or was it Jupiter and Venus; was this conjunction 400 or 800 years ago; does Saturn have a Satanic connection? That last question I know for sure – God is the Creator of all things and He named and numbered all the stars. (Ps 147:4) Like I said, much confusion that we do not need right now.

But I am going to state from a Biblical Astronomy about tonight’s siting of Jupiter and Saturn. Tonight I took a photo from my SkyView App on my iphone so let’s take a look at what we see.

JUPITER – in this photo we see Jupiter, but cannot see Saturn. But you can see Saturn’s rings. Saturn is so close to Jupiter that they look like one star. I am in Orlando and we can see it clearly in the sky with all the lights of the area blinding out the other stars. Jupiter is the KING PLANET and has represented King David and Israel. God named this planet TZEKEK which means ‘righteousness‘. It is the largest of all the original 7 planets at Creation (Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, Mercury, Sun, Moon) that lined up on the 4th day of Creation. Josephus records in the Antiquities of the Jews 3.7.7, “these seven represent the Menorah (candlestick) of the Temple.”

SATURN – God named this planet Shabbtai and it means ‘rest’, such as the Sabbath Rest. This is one of the most brilliant and beautiful planets. Saturn is surrounded by over 1000 rings made of dust and ice. Saturn is total gas and continues to hold the beautiful shape and form as when God created this magnificent planet. Saturn has at least 52 moons.

Jupiter and Saturn are the slowest moving of all the planets and are both made of brilliant gas. They are the 2 largest of the planets.

CAPRICORN means “atonement”. This shows in the Heavenly Bible (Ps 19:1-6) and all the named stars in the Constellation a part of the Story of Jesus. This shows the Church and our benefits purchased at a great price. Capricorn has been called “the Sea Goat”. It appears to be dying with its head bowed down, the right leg folded under the body and seems unable to rise with the left. The other part of his body is like a fish full of life. In the Goat we have the Atoning Sacrifice (scapegoat). In the Fish we have the people for whom the atonement was made. In Egyptian this constellation is called ‘Hu-penius’, which means ‘the place of the sacrifice’. The Hebrew and Arabic name for the sign is ‘Gedi’, the ‘kid cut off’ or ‘cut off’. Capricornus is merely the Latin name of the sign and means ‘goat’.

In the Old Testament, goats were often used for the sacrifice. Leviticus 10:16 reads, “Then Moses made careful inquiry about the goat of the sin offering, and there it was-burned up.” Leviticus 9:3 reads, “And to the children of Israel you shall speak, saying, ‘take a kid of the goats as a sin offering.”

On the Day of Atonement there were two goats. The High Priest would cast lots over the two goats to determine which would be the sacrifice, ‘for the Lord’. The scapegoat was called ‘azazel’ in Hebrew. Sins were carried away with the scapegoat and when the goat was pushed over the cliff and died, the scarlet cord that was tied unto the door of the Temple would turn white. (Isaiah 1:18)

The tail of the goat is of a fish. A living fish proceeds from a dead goat. Fish relates to Born Again Christians, New Birth. The Greek symbols of “Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior” is ichtus, and means ‘fish’. This symbol was used in the early days of Christianity to let others know you are a believer in Jesus.

This night is a very high occult night around the world because of the Winter Solstice and they will see this night different than we see it. We see Jesus the way God wanted us to see in the Biblical astronomy.

Keep looking up – your redemption is nigh. Luke 21:28

Let us look up and be thankful the Jesus died for all of us and that the world is looking up the heavens, wondering if there is a God to save them. I love how the Passion Translation brings out the brilliant way God speaks through us from the heavenlies, Psalm 19:1-4:

(1) “God’s splendor is a tale that is told;
his testament is written in the stars.
Space itself speaks his story every day
through the marvels of the heavens.
His truth is on tour in the starry vault of the sky,
showing his skill in creation’s craftsmanship.
(2) Each day gushes out its message to the next,
night with night whispering its knowledge to all.
(3) Without a sound, without a word, without a voice being heard,
(4) Yet all the world can see its story.
Everywhere its gospel is clearly read so all may know.

Tonight the night sky was amazing and I just had to take a picture with my iPhone SkyView app. Sagittarius was sitting on the Milky Way, with a brilliant waxing moon on his back side. The Moon was in front of Jupiter with Saturn behind them.

SagittariusThe Archer, ‘conquering and to conquer‘. The represents the triumph of the Coming One, Jesus Christ. The ‘half-man – half-horse’ represents His dual nature as Son of Man and Son of God.

Jupiter in Hebrew is Tzedek and means ‘righteousness‘. It is the King Planet and represents Israel.

Saturn in Hebrew is Shabbtai and represents ‘rest’, Shabbat. Saturn is surrounded by 1,000 rings of ice and dust and the planet itself is gas. It represents the beautiful rest our Creator gave us as a gift each week. The Jewish Shabbat, 7th day rest, began Friday night at sundown.

When I went to look at my calendar to see if there was anything special about this date, my calendar said, “Ashura”. I had no idea what that meant so I needed to research this day to see if it had any significance to this beautiful Sign in the Heavens.

This is a Islamic celebration that began this year at sundown August 28 to sundown August 29, 2020. On the Islamic calendar it always falls on the tenth day of the month of Muharram.

Ashura, also known as Yom Ashura, is the day of atonement and mourning for Muslims and marks the day that Moses and the Israelites were saved from Pharaoh by God creating a path in the seas. says this is the date that ‘commemorated as the day that Allah parted the Red Sea for Moses (Musa) and his followers to escape from the pharaoh.’

The Shi’a Muslims see the day as the climax of the Remembrance of Muharram and the martyrdom of Husayn ibn Ali, the grandson of Prophet Muhammad, at the battle of Karbala. Hence, this is a holy day of mourning for the Shi’a Muslims. One of the customs of the believers is ‘self-flagellation’, whipping themselves and shedding blood.

What I see in this day and this sign is protection for Israel. According to, Muharram was one of the four sacred months when fighting was not allowed. This is good in this hour when protests and violence are raging in the streets.

Not everything in the heavenly means something, but when I am out at night and Holy Spirit says “look up”, I know there is something new to learn. And I keep learning. I am a life-time student of the Word of God in the Heavens and in the Bible. (Psalm 19)

Mike Bickle wrote in his Studies for God School 2007: Understanding this Song helps us identify the issues that God is specifically dealing with in our lives. It equips us to discern what God is doing in the different seasons in our lives……People often find themselves in two different places in this Song in the seasons of their life.  I revisit the same place in the Song again and again.

In the Month of ELUL, it is a time in history when the King would come off his throne and go to where the people were, in the fields and wherever they were working.  In verses 9-11 we see the King affirming his love for the Maiden, the same as Jesus wants to affirm His love for the Bride of Christ.

Songs 1:9, “ I have compared you, my love, to my filly among Pharaoh’s chariots.”

Pharaoh’s war chariots had the best and most trained horses in the world. King Solomon, was the wealthiest man in the world and he bought many of Pharaoh’s horses. A horse is a symbol of strength, power and denotes swiftness. In her flesh we felt weak, but Jesus sees us in strength to lift us out of our weaknesses.

Song 1:10, “Your cheeks are lovely with ornaments, your neck with chains of gold.”

Cheeks speak of emotions (blush, dimples). The emotions of anger, joy or sadness are expressed in the cheeks.

Ornaments speak of her character. Ornaments are created by the skillful work of an artist. Jesus is the artist that makes us beautiful. When we have walked closely with Jesus, we are not concerned about the little things that normally cause us anger and sadness. He lifts us up and gives us ‘beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness’ (Is 61:3)

The Neck speaks of our will (stiff neck, stubborn). Our neck turns the head as it chooses which way to go. A neck without a necklace signified a stubborn neck. But this maiden has chains of gold! Gold is purified by fire. The maiden has purified her will to submit entirely to the King.

Song 1:11,  “We will make you ornaments of gold with studs of silver.”

Some translations of this verse say it is the Daughters of Jerusalem, the immature believers, who are speaking to the Maiden. But I like Watchman Nee’s interpretation. “We will” is the King’s promise, and in the plural ‘we’ the Holy Spirit is making reference to the Trinity. (Gen 1:26, ‘let US make man in OUR image, in OUR likeness.’)

The maiden’s ornaments of Gold speaks of the divine character, with the works of the flesh burned and purified with fire (Mal 3:1-4; Rev 3:18). In Revelation 3:18 it speaks of “buy from Me gold refined in the fire”. That speaks there will be a cost to this refining, it will cost us something, not with money, but with sacrifice to return to the Lord.

Silver speaks of redemption. She will be used to bring deliverance to the captives because she is redeemed and has paid the price to walk in that redemption. This is the only time the word ‘studs’ is used in the Bible. He will bring order into our thought life as we submit to His ways. The ‘helmet of salvation’ is provided for us, but we need to put it on.

Keep looking up! 2015 will have 2 Blood Moons on Passover and Tabernacles and 2 solar eclipses on the 2 Jewish New Years! Plus, we are in a Shemitah year! We are living in very, very, very exciting times and the heavens are declaring the glory of the Lord!

On the Hebraic calendar, yesterday was Iyar 14 which is Pesach Sheni, the Second Passover. When the Israelites were in the Wilderness, they were going to celebrate Passover as God had instructed them to do ‘forever’. However, some were not able to celebrate because they were not ritually clean and prepared.

Numbers 9:6-7, “There were, however, certain persons who had become ritually impure through contact with a dead body, and could not, therefore, prepare the Passover offering on that day. They approached Moses and Aaron . . . and they said: ‘. . . Why should we be deprived, and not be able to present God’s offering in its time, amongst the children of Israel?’”

This Pesach Sheni reveals that it is a ‘never a lost cause’, we serve a God of a Second Chance!

Last night was an amazing clear sky and I was at Bush Intercontinental Airport waiting for pastor friends who were arriving. As I sat in the car I looked up at the most amazing full moon. I had forgotten what day it was on God’s calendar. I took my iPhone with the amazing SkyView App and  was amazed at the heavenly formation.

Below is my first picture. It shows the full moon (representing Bride of Christ, reflecting the Glory of the Bridegroom) in the constellation of Libra the Scales (representing our purchased redemption, a price we would never pay) with Saturn (Shabbatai, the Rest, representing Lord of the Sabbath).

The next photo caught me by surprise. It was the constellation Scorpio the Giant Scorpion (a symbol of satan, in Hebrew it is aqrab ‘the conflict of war’– the root word means ‘a deadly foe’ or ‘to heave in conflict’). Antares is the brightest star in Scorpio’s heart shines deep red in color and means ‘the wounding’ in ancient Arabic.

D. James Kennedy, PH.D. in his book The Read Meaning of the Zodiac wrote regarding Scorpio. “Here we go to the very heart of the whole message of the Bible. And what is that message? Essentially, it about great warfare. And though that warfare is often portrayed as the battle between the forces of righteousness and the forces of evil in this world-between faith and unbelief; between the followers of Christ and the followers of anti-Christ-ultimately, it is a battle between Christ and Satan. It all began in that battle in Heaven.”

This scorpion of Revelation (serpent, dragon) is described in many ways in the Bible. Revelation 9:10-11, “And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails; and their power was to hurt men five months. And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.”

As I stated before, the full moon represents the Bride of Christ. Why do I say that? Because the moon has no light in itself, it only represents the radiance and glory of the Sun. Psalm 19:1-6 tells of the Heavenly Bible that speaks to mankind, and verse 5 calls the Sun the Bridegroom. ‘Which is as a bridegroom out of his chamber’. Yeshua is the Bridegroom and is waiting for the soon coming Marriage Supper of the Lamb. The conflict the Bride of Christ is experiencing right now is not with flesh and blood, but the evil spirits of the anti-Christ behind each attack.

Another reference to the Moon being the Bride is from Joseph’s dream as recorded in Genesis 37:9, “the sun and the moon and the eleven stars bowed down to me.” Jacob replied, “Shall I (sun) and your mother (moon) and your (11) brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?” The 12 main constellation represent the 12 Tribes of Israel.

Time to arise Church! Time to arise and shine Warrior Bride! Wake up and report for duty! The Church’s greatest victory is at hand- our time has come. The Harvest is indeed ready!

I took the following photos with an ap on my iphone, SkyView Free. The Moon (not looking blood red on the SkyViewer) is right on top of Spica, the Branch. In Hebrew it is called Tsemech, The Branch. There are 24 Hebrew words that mean branch, but only one is Tsemech (H6780) and it is used exclusively for the Messiah and is used 4 times (Jeremiah 23:5; Zechariah 3:8 & 6:12; Isaiah 4:2)

To the right is the red planet, Mars. In Hebrew it is Ma’Adim, The Red One. This planet has become known as the Planet of War.

To the left is Saturn, Shabbtai, representing the Lord of the Sabbath rest.

Saturn is directly over Libra, “The Scales”. The Hebrew name is Mozanaim, “the scales, weighing”. Daniel 5:27, TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.

Saturn is one of the original 7 planets that make up the Heavenly Menorah of Creation. Planets are also known as ‘wandering stars’.

Historian Josephus records “God afforded them (Adam, Seth, Enoch) a longer time on account of thier virtue, and the good use they made of it in astronomical and geometric discoveries, which would not be afforded the time of foretelling [periods of the stars] unless they had lived six hundred years; for the great year is completed in that interval.”  (Antiqities 1.3.9) It has been taught through the ages that the 7 planets were in perfect alignment on the 4th day of Creation.

Genesis 1:14-16 tells us, “Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. [He made] the stars also.”

Stars come in two categories: (1) Fixed – Constellations (2) Wandering – Planets, Comets, Meteors

Saturn is the Star of this week! Saturn’s name in Hebrew is Shabbtai and means ‘rest’.  All the planets have names that represent the Messiah, Saturn representing “Lord of the Sabbath”. Saturn is the most beautiful planet, beautiful colored with over 1000 rings made of dust and ice surrounding her beauty. NASA will never be able to land on this beautiful planet because it is made up of gas, a spaceship would go right through it.

This week Saturn has been in opposition, meaning that the Sun is on the other side of the earth so our view is awesome. The rings could be seen with the naked eye.

This week Saturn is showing us anything but rest!

  • Add this to the first naked-eye comet of the Century PanStarrs and I believe the signs in the heavens are speaking for us to ‘look up’. Comets, throughout history, have become known as a bad omen. They often appear several years before a major war or natural disaster.
  • Comet ISON, which will be seen the  best the first day of Hanukkah Nov 28, is expected to be one of the largest, if not the largest, in history.
  • These signs are coming before 2014-2015 back-to-back Blood Red Moons on Passover and Tabernacles!
  • 2015 will also have Solar Eclipses on both of the New Years on the Hebrew Calendar (Nissan and Tishri)
  • Joel 2:31, Acts 2:20 and Rev 6:12 all record before the LORD returns the moon would turn to blood (lunar eclipse) AND the sun to sackcloth (solar eclipse). Not ‘or’, or ‘either’, but AND.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

NOTE: I apologize for not putting the beautiful photos of Saturn at rest and distress. My laptop will be fixed shortly and I can get back to work writing!!  Blessings, Mary
