Hanukkah 2012 – Day 5

Today is 12/12/12. Twelve represents government, or perfection of government, rule. There were 12 Sons of Israel, 12 Apostles, 12 calendar months, 12 Major Constellations of the Zodiac. There were 12 persons from the Old Testament that were anointed – Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, Ithamar, Saul, David, Absalom, Solomon, Jehu, Joash, Jehoahaz.

Tonight the largest asteroid (size of a mountain) will be the closest to the earth as it passes. Asteroid Toutatis is well-known to astronomers; it passes by Earth’s orbit every 4 years. Measuring 4.5 km in length, it is one of the largest known potentially hazardous asteroids (PHAs), and its orbit is inclined less than half-a-degree from Earth’s. No other kilometer-sized PHA moves around the Sun in an orbit so nearly coplanar with our own.  This makes it an important target for radar studies.

Timothy Snodgrass commented in his blog today: It is no accident that Asteroid 4175 Toutatis is passing near its closest projectory by Earth today. Although there is no possibility of a collision for another six centuries, I believe that todays passing on 12/12/12 is a “sign” type of event. The asteroid is the size of a large mountain, several miles wide and mountain represents the new apostolic reformation which is about to sweep across the earth. The mountain-sized celestial visitor represents the unstoppable and imminent arrival of the Kingdom of God, which will soon crush every other kingdom of this world. (highlights are my emphasis)

My prayer is that on this 5th day of Hanukkah, the Light of the World would shine bright and wake up the sleeping Church to the timing of God!!!

Earthquakes Today in South Pacific – 7 / 7 / 7

Today the Republic of Vanuatu (island nation in the South Pacific east of Australia) had 3 earthquakes of 7 or above www.USGS.gov  and 5 smaller quakes– all on the same day. The first one was 7.5 at 16.55 UTC, the second was 7.1 at 16.55 UTC, the third was 7.0 at 18.19 UTC.  The 7.5 quake at 16.55  UTC was later changed to a 7.1, but I got an email alert on both.

It is interesting to note that the quakes were on Saturday (Shabbat) and the epicenter was on Sunday (1st day of the week).

The Hebrew letters always carry a numberical meaning and Zayin carries the numerical value of 7. The pictograph of Zayin was ‘a sword’ and both the symbol and number of Zayin mean to cut, particularly to ‘cut time’. On God’s calendar, there are 7 days in a week, 7 weeks of 7 between the Passover Feasts and Pentecost, 7th month is Nisan- when the new year begins on the bibical calendar, every 7 years the land rests (shemitah year) and the Jubilee year begins after 7 sets of 7 years.

Today is 10/10/10 – God is saying “Holy, Holy, Holy”

  1. Deuteronomy 4 shows us the Ten Commandments, things that separate us from the rest of the world, ways of living that pleases God
  2. Leviticus 27:30 & 32 shows us that the Tithe (tenth of your finances, goods received or earned) belongs to the LORD, separated for Him
  3. Daniel 1 shows us that Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego separated themselves from the ways of the world for Ten Days and at the end of Ten Days they were Ten times wiser
  4. Matthew 25:1, the Kingdom of Heaven is likened to the Ten Virgins that had separated themselves for the Bride Groom (all called to be 10’s, but not all ended up being 10’s)
  5. Matthew 4 we see Jesus fasting 40 days (4 x 10) Fasting is separating yourself to be closer to God
  6. Jude 14 tells us of Jesus coming with Ten Thousand of the saints of God, those who had separated & consecrated themselves to live a life for God, will come and judge what is unholy, unrighteous (warning is in Luke 21:34-36)

EW Bullinger wrote in his book Numbers In Scripture, “…ten is one of the perfect numbers, and signifies the perfection of Divine order, commencing, as it does, an altogether new series of numbers. Completeness of order, marking the entire round of anything, is, therefore, the ever-present signification of the number ten. It implies that nothing is wanting; that the number and order are perfect; that the whole cycle is complete.”

  • Ten times fire came down from heaven (6 were in judgment, 6 represents man)
  • Ten times people shouted for joy
  • Ten virgins
  • Ten “I Am’s in John said by Jesus
  • In the Talmud there are 10 different words used for idols; 10 different words for joy; ten generations from Adam to Noah & Noah to Abraham

In some way, make this day different, separated, holy to God. I had a dream last night regarding 2 churches, one so dead we left it on Sunday morning and went to another church that was having such financial hardships they were using the Sunday School rooms to sell garage sale items while church was going on. Neither was “seeking first the Kingdom of God.” SELAH
