Monday, February 11, 2013, I was busy getting ready for a 2-day workshop in my home that would begin at 10am. Just before 9am I stepped out of my bedroom and the Holy Spirit spoke very clearly to me “You have a short window of time to get the update of the signs in the heavens to as many people as possible”. That startled me, to put it mildly.  A few moments later I turned on 700 Club to listen to the first few minutes of news. Pat Robertson announced that Friday of that week, a large asteroid was coming into our atmosphere that may interfere with the satellite that affected the power supply on the US east coast and western Europe. His next announcement was that Pope Benedict resigned, the first Pope to resign in 600 years. Within 5 minutes, I was given a new assignment to ‘watch and pray’.

The next morning I was busy getting ready for the second day of our workshop and I was smelling smoke and looking for the fire. The ladies helping me could not smell anything, but it was real to me. The smell went away and I soon forgot about it. Before breaking for lunch, a pastor friend sent me a text to ask my guest speaker why she was waking at 4am smelling smoke and her husband smelled nothing. It was too much of a coincidence to ignore. My guest minister said we were being directed by God to pray, even if we did not have all the details.

That Friday it was announced that Asteroid DA14, located 17,000 miles above the earth, was no threat. HOWEVER, no one saw the Meteorite coming that exploded 12 miles above what is known as “the most polluted area on the planet”,  Chelyabinsk, Russia.The surrounding area has a history of being a nuclear disaster area and many parts were not open to habitation until 45 years ago.

That 65′ meteor came in at 42,900 mph which is 60 times the speed of sound. The explosion was 30 times brighter than the sun and many observers were instantly sunburned. The blast had 20-30 amount of energy than the atomic bomb of Hiroshima and 1,500 people were injured from broken glass, several people were knocked down by the sonic boom. 7,200 buildings were damaged, with windows broken and window frames pushed in. One fragment was 1,300 pounds and was recovered from a nearby lake.

Mark 13:25 states, “the stars will be falling from the sky, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken.” No one saw the meteor happen, it caught them completely by surprise. If that meteor had actually landed in that city it would have destroyed the entire city, and I believe nuclear waste would have spread for thousands of miles. I believe that is what we were to pray for, to stand in the gap to avert disaster coming from the meteor.

Back to the Pope: I have never had any problems with the Catholic church or the Vatican. I have never even been vaguely interested in studying anything about the Popes, but now I was going to look into it closer! It turns out that the next pope would be the 112th Pope of St Malachy’s prophesy of 1139. As I looked into the history of the prophetic words given to each of the 112 popes of his prophecy I saw some interesting ‘signs in the heavens’. For instance, 1978 being ‘the year of the popes’, with 3 different popes in 1 year.

1978 saw the death of Pope Paul VI (8/6/78). Malachy’s prophetic word for him was “Flower of the Flowers” and his coat of arms had 3 fleur-de-lis. Pope John Paul I, was elected 8/26/78. His prophetic words were “From the midst of the moon“. He was elected on ‘half a moon’ and died 33 days later (9/28/78) on ‘half a moon’.  Pope John Paul II was elected 10/16/78 and his prophetic word was “From the labor of the sun“. He was born 5/18/20 during a partial solar eclipse over the Indian Ocean and buried 4/8/05 during a rare ‘hybrid’ eclipse over South America and the Pacific. Pope John Paul II was very instrumental with President Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbechev to bring about the greatest political changes in modern history, the end of Communism (for a short period) and the end of the Berlin Wall that divided Germany.

St Malachy’s prophecy about the 112th pope had the most words of all the prophesies. “In extreme persecution, the seat of the Holy Roman Church will be occupied by Peter the Roman, who will feed the sheep through many tribulation, after which the City of Seven Hills will be destroyed, and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. The end.”

COMET PanSTARRS, the first comet of the Century, could be seen with a naked eye over Rome as Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina was elected 3/13/13 at 8:13am.  He chose the name Pope Francis I, after Francis of Assisi, a lover of nature, humble, kind and unassuming.

Throughout the centuries, every empire has had an understanding of comets. Comets were recorded as a world leader came into power or left power, or prior to wars or prophetic events. (see my blog of 9/25/11, Significant Comets Connection to Historic Events)

Pope Francis I  was the first pope elected from the Americas and the first Jesuit pope. The Jesuits, The Society of Jesus, was founded in 1534 by Ignatius of Loyola and is a military branch of the Vatican to defend the faith and formed for ‘counter-reformation‘, to bring people out of Martin Luther’s reformation and back to the Catholic faith. They took a strict vow of poverty and total obedience to the Pope. Rule 13 of the Society of Jesus states, “That we may be altogether of the same mind and in conformity…if [the Church] shall have defined anything to be black which our eyes appears to be white, we ought to like manner pronounce it black.” This militant society was known as  the ‘storm troopers’ of the Catholic church and became greatly feared in Europe.

Personally, Pope Francis I concerns me for the fact that many Bible believing Christians and leaders are now turning back to the Catholic church. It is public knowledge that Ulf Ekman, pastor of Sweden’s largest church and founder of Scandinavia’s leading Bible college has left his pastorate and joined the Catholic church. He now states that ‘We need what the Lord has given to the Catholic Church to live fully as Christians.’

Berlin has now built the first church building for Chrislam, joining Christians with Islam.

Brothers and sisters, I beg you to get your foundation secure of who you are in Christ. Do not be deceived by this End Time message of inclusion. Apostle Paul would have written a strong letter to the Church of today, but we can find his words given to his spiritual son Timothy as recorded in I Timothy 4:1, “Now the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of devils.”

Do not be deceived! The first warning Jesus gave us for the Last Days is found in Matthew 24:4, “And Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Take heed that no one deceives you”.

Pope Francis I stated in his homily at Eurcharist in Pauline Chapel in Rome April 23, 2013, “and so the Church as a Mother, the Mother of more children, of many children… A Mother that gives us the faith, a Mother who gives us an identity. Because it is not possible to find Jesus outside the Church... and the Mother Church that gives us Jesus gives us our identity that is not only a seal; it is a belonging.” The Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraph 181 states, ‘Believing is an ecclesial act. The Church is the mother of all believers. No one can find God as Father who does not have the Church as Mother.’

This End-Time Agenda of the Catholic church was fully seen in Pope Francis’s recent trip to Israel where he repeatedly stated “The State of Palestine”, and emboldened the Palestinians to fight for their statehood in Israel.
