The Astronomy magazine for April 14 has an amazing article for the April 15 Blood Moon on Passover.April 2014: While Mars shines brighter than at any time since 2007 and Jupiter blazes in the west after sunset, North American observers won’t want to miss the total eclipse of the Moon on April 14/15″

The article includes where the moon will eclipse at totality at 3am CST. I would like to share what this setting means according to Biblical astronomy, since God created the sun, moon and stars for ‘signs and seasons’. (Genesis 1:14)

Looking southwest, the moon will eclipse very very close the brightest star in Virgo called Spica.

  • Virgo is Latin, but Hebrew name is Bethulah, the virgin.
  • Spica in Latin, but in Hebrew it is called Tsemech, which is used exclusively for the Messiah. E.W. Bullinger writes in his classic “The Witness of the Stars”, ‘There are twenty Hebrew words translated “Branch,” but only one of them (Tsemech) is used exclusively of the Messiah, and this word only four times (Jer 33:15 being only a repetition of Jer 23:5). Each of these further connects Him with one special account of Him, given in the Gospels.’
  • The Moon will eclipse on Passover, the date that Christ our Passover Lamb was sacrificed for us (1 Corinthians 5:7b)

To the left of the Blood moon will be the ringed planet Saturn

  • Saturn which is a beautiful gas planet, no space ship will ever land on this magnificent ‘wandering star
  • The Hebrew name for Saturn is Shabbtai, meaning ‘rest’ and represents the “Lord of the Sabbath’

To the upper right of the Blood moon will be the red planet Mars

  • Mars has been known as the planet of war because it has taken the name of the Roman god of war
  • This planet in Hebrew is called Ma’adim, meaning ‘the Adam‘, “the Son of Man
  • Mars will be the brightest and largest at this time and will not be this size again until 2016

I believe in the days ahead those He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (Psalm 91:1). Jesus, our Passover Lamb, has given us rest. He is and will ever be the “Lord of the Sabbath’ rest.

But for the world there will be great unrest. Unrest, wars, rumors of war are on the news every night. But those who seek the presence of God will experience supernatural provisions and rest much as the Israelite children in the land of Goshen, as recorded for us as examples in Exodus.

Keep watching and looking up! But never worship the creation, on the Creator!

The first total lunar eclipse since December 2011 will take place April 14, 2014 with the best viewing over North America. It will begin at 1:58am EDT, peak at 3:06 to 4:25am and wrap up at 5:33am.

I remember the December 2011 lunar eclipse because I watched the entire event from our patio, bundled up in my husband’s sleeping bag with hot tea in one hand and binoculars in the other. I was so excited I went the entire night without sleep. I would frequently go into the house and email my friend who was also watching the eclipse.

A few interesting things about the Lunar Eclipse:

  • It begins the 4 Blood Moon Tetrad on Passover and Tabernacles 2 years in a row
  • First total lunar eclipse since December 2011
  • Since it will be centered over North America, I wonder what will be happening with our government to pressure Israel. –   “As recorded by Bill Koenig (Watch.org) September 3, 2008- “A Blood-Red Moon Rises over North America, Olmert Offers Temple Mount Sovereignty to the Palestinians, Olmert and Abbas Meet on Israel’s Land and Jerusalem, Bush Says Iran’s Actions Could Lead to a Shadow of a Nuclear Holocaust, and Bush Arrives in New Orleans for his 15th Post-Katrina Visit. These were the news headlines on the day of a total lunar eclipse that produced a “blood-red” moon, the second one in seven years with a connection to the Temple Mount.  A total lunar eclipse/”blood-red” moon occurred on July 16, 2000, while U.S. President Bill Clinton, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Palestinians President Yassar Arafat were at the Middle East Summit in Camp David. The sticking point that caused the summit to fall had to do with who would have sovereignty over the Temple Mount- the Israelis or the Palestinian Arabs.”

The next Lunar Eclipse will be on the first day of Tabernacles, October 8, 2014 and will be a partial Eclipse.  This also will be over North America! It will begin at 5:14am EDT with totality at 7:24am.

Two weeks later will be the only Solar Eclipse of the year and will be a partial, also over North America on October 23.  It will be seem at mid afternoon with 81% of the Sun is expected to be hidden.

The information above came from Astronomy Magazine, Sky Guide 2014, November 22, 2o13 issue. I have found this magazine to be a good accurate source. This should be an interesting year. I plan to blog often because there is much to view this year, especially since the Signs in the Heavens will be following God’s “fixed appointed times”, the Feasts of the Lord.

Keep looking up!

Joel 2:31, The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

Acts 2:20, The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.

Revelation 6:12, I watched as the Lamb broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake. The sun became as dark as black cloth, and the moon became as red as blood.

So much is being said about the upcoming Blood Moons on Passover and Tabernacles in 2014 and 2015. A special significance in the Signs in the Heavens is the connection in 2015 to the 2 Solar Eclipses that will happen at the time of both New Years. According to NASA’s Solar Eclipse site, these will be the only  Solar Eclipses for 2015.

  • The Spring New Year begins the counting of the months according to Exodus 12, the month of Nissan (Abib)
  • The Fall New Year begins the counting of the years, dating to the Creation of Adam, the month of Tishri

According to my studies, the Solar Eclipse and the Lunar Eclipse have never happened in the Feast/Holy Day pattern together as they will in 2015. Blood Moons on Passover and Tabernacles, and Sackcloth Sun on both New Years. I may be wrong, but I don’t see it in the other Blood Moon Tetrad cycles of 1492, 1948 and 1967.

A solar eclipse happens when the moon is totally dark and comes comes in between the Earth and the Sun, causing the light of the Sun to be blocked. Below is a photo of a solar eclipse. During a full Sun, the light of the day would turn dark.

Solar Eclipse

In the Blood Moon Tetrad cycle of 1967 and 1968, a total solar eclipse took place on the Eve of the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) 9/22/1968. This was the last day of the year of 5728 on the Hebraic calendar. The next day the year changed to 5729. That day on the Hebraic calendar was Elul 29.

I have found some very interesting information about these solar eclipses that I will bring out in the next few days.

Next Wednesday night at sundown will begin the new year 5774 on God’s calendar. I say God’s calendar and not Hebrew calendar for a reason. 5774 marks the years since the beginning of the world as we know it since Creation. God never changes, His Word never changes, His promises never change, His love never changes and his ‘moedim’ (fixed appointed times) never change. We need to get into the rhythm of Yahweh’s timing because the End Time prophetic happenings will be on His fixed appointed days. (Did you notice that He was not moved by Y2K or the Mayan calendar?)

Last night we had an incredible Head of the Year meeting at Breath of Life International Ministries in Friendswood with Pastors Albert and Marcelia Anderson. Awesome! Worship Minister Michael Moses ushered us into a realm where it was easy to hear what Abba is saying for us this next year. Lavonne Chandler of Touched by Grace brought forth the prophetic word and it was off the charts awesome! I know that BOLIM will have those audio messages available for sale soon. www.breathoflifeinternational.net.

As Sister Lavonne was ministering, Yahweh spoke to me that this next year was pregnant with twins, double. On May 18, 2013 I blogged about 5774 being a leap year, which the Jewish call a ‘pregnant’ year.  This means that there will be an extra month of Adar and that Purim (the celebration of the  victory over Haman’s edict to destroy the Jewish people as recorded in Esther) will be delayed a month to Adar 2.

WHAT DOES PREGANT WITH DOUBLE MEAN FOR US? Today’s Torah reading confirmed what I was shown last night. There is a ‘double Torah reading’ and both have to do with choosing. The readings are Nitsavim (“You are standing”) Deut 29:9 – 30:20 & Va Yelech (“And he went”) Deut 31:10-20). We are in the 25th day of Teshuvah, turning back to Yahweh. Choose today whom you will serve.

  • 30:15, life and good or death and evil
  • 30:19, I call on heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have presented you with life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore, choose life, so that you will live, you and your descendants (CJB)
  • 31:6, 7, 23, Be strong and of good courage- do not fear (we can choose to be strong or be in fear)

Last year was all about the camels coming loaded down with blessings for the Bride of Isaac, as recorded in Genesis 24.

This year we are entering into Genesis 25 with the “TWINS”,  Jacob and Esau, coming forth through the ‘door’ of the womb. This year we will see the fullness birth of blessings and cursing, life or death.

Many believers are asking the same thing Rebekah asked “If it is going to be like this, why go on living?” So she went to inquire of Adonai,  who answered her, “There are two nations in your womb. From birth they will be two rival peoples. One of these peoples will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger.”

Choose life no matter how you feel, choose to decree your future, choose to believe the report of the Lord. You are a prophet of your own future. No one can choose for you.

Just as the natural seed of Jacob and Esau has come to fullness as war is rising between the ‘twins’, war is rising with our promises. The enemy of Yahweh has a future planned for the Bride, but God’s promises are greater!!!! Satan may have been the god of this world, but Yeshuah won the victory and redeemed us to our place of dominion, washed us in His precious Blood to rule and reign as kings and priests unto the Most High God!

I decree and declare, “the older shall serve the younger”!!! Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, may they prosper who love you.

Shabbat Shalom

This next year that begins at sundown September 5, 2013 is Tishri 1, 5774. These are the years counted since the creation of Adam. This year will have 13 months, the last two months are Adar I and Adar II. The Feast of Purim is always the month before Nisan, so this next year Purim will be Adar II.

The Hebrew calendar has 7 leap years in 19 years. When they have a leap year they add an entire month. It is always added to be the month before Nisan, when the Biblical year begins (Passover). The leap months are added to keep sync with the Sun (solar) cycle.

The leap year on the Hebrew calendar is called a “pregnant year”. This past Pentecost I was updating my Feasts of the Lord manual I sell on our ministry’s resource table. I noticed something amazing and it has to do with the 4 back-to-back blood moons on Passover and Tabernacles in 2014 and 2015.

According to NASA’s Eclipse charts, there have only been 3 times that there have been back-to-back blood moons on Passover and Tabernacles (the only Feast Days that fall on a full moon). Each of these times have to do with the shedding on Jewish blood and were followed by Tetrad blood moons.

  • 1492- Spanish Inquisition, Jews were kicked out of Spain. Those who did not leave or convert to Christianity were murdered.
  • 1948- War of Independence. The day after Israel became a nation all the Arab neighbors went to war to destroy this reborn nation
  • 1967 – Six Day War. For 6 days Israel defended themselves against Arab nations set to destroy them, and they gained control of Jerusalem for the first time in almost 2,000 years.
  • Next 2014 and 2015 will be the next Tetrad blood moons.

Amazing, they were all PREGNANT YEARS, Leap years on the Hebrew calendar!! Each of the prior cycles in the last century had to do with fulfillment of prophetic events. Is this a signs that 2014 (Leap Year) will be a fulfillment of prophetic events? Watch and pray!!!

Could the next two years be recorded in history as “Now it came to pass in the days……….”?   This phrase was used 5 times in the Bible and always denotes impending doom, followed by great deliverance. Genesis 14:1; Ruth 1:1;  Esther 1:1; Isaiah 7:1; Jeremiah 1:3.

According to NASA’s research of past Lunar Eclipses, there have only been 3 times in history that there have been back-to-back Lunar (moon)  Eclipses on Feast Days in History.

  • Of the 7 Feasts of the Lord, only 2 could have a blood moon, Passover and Tabernacles. For a lunar eclipse the moon has to be full and would fall on the middle of the lunar month.
  • Each of the prior Tetrad (4) back-to-black Blood Moons were associated with the shedding of Jewish blood.
  • Each of the eclipses began in great distress for the Jews and ended with a blessing for the Church

Here are my findings of the past Tetrad back-to-back lunar eclipse cycles:

1493-1494 – Jews forced to leave Spain

  • Distress: King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella of Spain had conquered the known world for Christ, and the next thing they would do for Christianity was to convert all Jews to Christianity. They picked Av 9 on the Hebrew calendar, the most dreaded day on their calendar. Columbus records that as he was waiting for the tide, the last boatload of Jews were leaving Spain. All the Jews that remained were either murdered or forcefully converted to Christianity.
  • The next 2 Passover Feasts and Tabernacle Feasts had blood red moons
  • Blessing: God led Columbus to find a new land for the Jewish people where they could live in safety, America.

1949-1950 –  War of Independence

  • Distress: May 14, 1948, Israel became the first nation ever to be reborn in a day! But their Arab neighbors were not happy about it and May 15 Israel was at war with 6 Arab nations.
  • The next 2 Passover Feasts and Tabernacle Feasts had blood red moons
  • Blessing: Following the war, the greatest healing movement in history began. Tents were filled with people being healed of every ailment known to mankind.

1967-1968 – Six Day War

  • Distress: Again, the Arab nations were determined to wipe Israel off the map. During the 6 days, the Holy City of Jerusalem came back into the hands of the Jews.
  • Passover 1967 had a Blood Red Moon and next Passover and Tabernacle Feasts had blood red moons
  • Blessing Charismatic Move, the Holy Spirit moved into major Denominations and it was as if the fire of Pentecost had fallen again!

2014-2015 – Next Tetrad

Ecclesiastes 1:9 in the New Living Testament reads, “History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new.”

Could the next few years be a sign of war for the Jews? Could it be the Psalm 83 war or the Ezekiel 38 & 39 war? Watch and Pray.

If ‘history merely repeats itself’, there will be war for the Jews, followed by a move of God for the Body of Christ.  Ephesians 2:15 tells us the Church is linked with the Jews “so as to create in Himself one new man from the two…..”

There are no more Tetrads on Feast Days projected in this Century. Watch and Pray! Look up, our Redemption is drawing nigh! The greatest promised Harvest  of souls in history is on the horizon!

Psalm 91:1 (HNV) “He who dwells in the secret place of Ha`Elyon will rest in the shadow of Shaddai. (2) I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust.”

This may sound like a strange scripture for Tabernacles, but this is where we need to live (rest, abide) live right now!!

The custom of the Jewish people is to build a small tabernacle (succot, booths) outside their house and spend time in that temporary building. As they rest in the tabernacle, they would recall how the Hebrew children were taken care of for 40 years in the Wilderness journey. But today I don’t want to look back, but to be totally aware of our protection for today.

To understand where I am teaching today you will need a little understanding of the Law of First Mention. The “law of first-mention” is the principle in the interpretation of Scripture which states that the first mention or occurrence of a subject in Scripture establishes an unchangeable pattern, with that subject remaining unchanged in the mind of God throughout Scripture.

The first time we find the word shadow is in the story of Lot in the city of Sodom in Genesis 19. The angels of the LORD (who looked like men) had come into the city to bear witness to the wickedness. Before God can pass judgment there has to be 2 or 3 witnesses. Lot urged them to come and stay with him and his family for their safety. While they were in Lot’s house, they broke unleavened bread with Lot (the first mention of unleavened bread in the Bible).

When the men of Sodom came to demand to have sex with the angels, Lot’s reply was “See now, I have two virgin daughters. Please let me bring them out to you, and do you to them as is good in your eyes. Only don’t do anything to these men, because they have come under the shadow of my roof.”

First of all, I know what you are thinking.  Why did Lot say they could have his daughters? Lot knew they were not interested in women, but they were only interested in sodomizing men, a word that came from the sins of the city of Sodom.

But don’t miss the best point!  The angels came under covenant with Lot when they broke bread, which is a custom still held in the East. When you are in covenant, the other party will protect you no matter what it costs!!  The covenant made with bread and wine is stronger that your natural bloodline family.

This was God’s way, and it is the best way.  When Jesus broke bread with His disciples at what is now referred to as the Last Supper, He took the wine and said, ” and having taken the cup, and having given thanks, he gave to them, saying, `Drink ye of it — all; for this is my blood of the new covenant, that for many is being poured out — to remission of sins.” (YLT)  The Blood Covenant is still in force today, is still able to protect all who come under it and has never lost its power!!!

TODAY, MAKE YOUR ETERNAL SUCCOT UNDER THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY.  Allow Him to be your refuge and fortress. That eternal covenant will always be your safest place of safety in the midst of a storm!

NOT WITHOUT THE BLOOD
Hebrews 9:7, “But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people’s sins committed in ignorance”
Hebrews 9:11, “But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. (12) Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.”
Jesus supplied His precious, spotless Blood on the Mercy Seat in Heaven, once and for all. He supplied, now we must apply.
Apply it in faith with the pen of your tongue. Speak mercy over your friends and country by the sprinkling of the Blood of Jesus. This is not a time to think about yourself, plead the Blood over our nation.
Revelation 1:5, “And from Jesus Christ, [who is] the faithful witness, [and] the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, (6) And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”
Kings have authority, Priests have access before the Throne by the Blood of Jesus to stand in the gap.
Yom Kippur is all about the Blood! Yom Kippur begins tomorrow at Sundown.

Yom Kippur, also known as  Yom Hakippurim (which means the day of covering or concealing), the Day of  Atonement, The Fast, The Great Fast, Day of the Covering, Face to Face (my favorite name); Day of Forgiveness, Day of Grace, or the Day of Judgment.

In history, this is the day that Moses came down the mountain after the 2nd set of 4o days when he spent his time interceeding for the nation of Isreal because of the sin of worshipping the Golden Calf. He went up the mountain after this idol worship incident on Elul 1 (when Teshuvah begins) and descended 40 days later on Tishri 10. When he came down he had the 2nd set of the 10 Commandments. The Atonement (Hebrew – chaphar, to cover, make reconciliation, to pacify or appease; to clear, purge or cleanse) was made at that time for the nation, one righteous man standing in the gap for the entire nation.

Moses said to HaShem: (Exodus 32:32) “Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin–; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written. (33) And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.” Notice the word “sin–” with the dashes behind it. That implies a sudden silence. The Midrash comments, “Whether of not You forgive the, take away my personal merits from Your ledger and assign them to the credit of Israel.”

The forgiveness for the nation once a year had to be made by the High Priest, where he would come ‘face to face’ with the glory of God in the Holy of Holies. The ransom sacrifice had to made by blood, because the only thing set apart from the foundation of the earth as an answer to sin was blood. The Israelites were not to touch blood, drink blood or eat an animal with the blood.

Leviticus 17:11 reads, “‘For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.”

Today I was reading Gwen Shaw’s book, The Power of the Precious Blood. One thing that she wrote really struck me today and I would like to share it with you. “God would not allow any priest who did not recognize the blood and the anointing to minister unto Him…… If you go to a church where the Blood is not honored, you better start seeking God’s face about whether you are doing His will. And if you support financially a ministry that is silent concerning the greatest truth of the Holy Spripture, you better know you are paying the way for which is not God’s pattern or religion.”

This is the way I see Yom Kippur, my personal opinion. The Spring Feasts (Passover)  are all about our personal salvation and the Fall Feasts are about National Salvation. Yom Kippur is for standing in the gap for your nation and Israel. But we must be prepared to come before the Face of God with the Blood of Jesus for those who are not prepared for the judgment that is beginning to come upon this earth.

God speaks louder during the Days of Awe.

Hebrews 4:7a reads, “TODAY, If you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.”

This is quoted from Psalm 95, a psalm dedicated to the Tribe of Issachar. The Tribe of Issachar was gifted with the understanding of the timing of God. We are warned in Issachar’s psalm that the Hebrew children hardened their hearts and did not hear God speaking to them.

These verses should be speaking loudly to us TODAY. Get quiet before your Maker, and hear what He is speaking to you. He has words of love, warnings and corrections- but they will all come from a heart of love for GOD IS LOVE.
