- Deuteronomy 4 shows us the Ten Commandments, things that separate us from the rest of the world, ways of living that pleases God
- Leviticus 27:30 & 32 shows us that the Tithe (tenth of your finances, goods received or earned) belongs to the LORD, separated for Him
- Daniel 1 shows us that Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego separated themselves from the ways of the world for Ten Days and at the end of Ten Days they were Ten times wiser
- Matthew 25:1, the Kingdom of Heaven is likened to the Ten Virgins that had separated themselves for the Bride Groom (all called to be 10’s, but not all ended up being 10’s)
- Matthew 4 we see Jesus fasting 40 days (4 x 10) Fasting isĀ separating yourself to be closer to God
- Jude 14 tells us of Jesus coming with Ten ThousandĀ of the saints of God, those who had separated & consecrated themselves to live a life for God, will come and judge what is unholy, unrighteous (warning is in Luke 21:34-36)

EW Bullinger wrote in his book Numbers In Scripture, “…ten is one of the perfect numbers, and signifies the perfection of Divine order, commencing, as it does, an altogether new series of numbers. Completeness of order, marking the entire round of anything, is, therefore, the ever-present signification of the number ten. It implies that nothing is wanting; that the number and order are perfect; that the whole cycle is complete.”

- Lord’s Prayer- 10 clauses
- Ten Plagues

- Abraham’s faith tested by 10 trials
- The 10 rebellions in the Wilderness
- The 10 x 10 Silver Sockets which formed the foundation of the Tabernacle
- Ten times fire came down from heaven (6 were in judgment, 6 represents man)
- Ten times people shouted for joy
- Ten virgins
- Ten “I Am’s in John said by Jesus
- In the Talmud there are 10 different words used for idols; 10 different words for joy; ten generations from Adam to Noah & Noah to Abraham
In some way, make this day different, separated, holy to God. I had a dream last night regarding 2 churches, one so dead we left it on Sunday morning and went to another church that was having such financial hardships they were using the Sunday School rooms to sell garage sale items while church was going on. Neither was “seeking first the Kingdom of God.” SELAH
