Amos 4:12, “Therefore, I will bring upon you all the disasters I have announced. Prepare to meet your God in judgment, you people of Israel!” (13) For the LORD is the one who shaped the mountains,
stirs up the winds, and reveals his thoughts to mankind. He turns the light of dawn into darkness
and treads on the heights of the earth. The LORD God of Heaven’s Armies is his name!

Every time God spoke Judgment to the nation of Israel, it came to pass. EXCEPT when a righteous person stood in the gap for the nation. One of those times was at Mt Sinai, the sin of the Golden Calf. We are in the days right now that Moses went up the mountain for the 2nd set of 40 days, this time to intercede for the nation of Israel for that specific incident.

We are coming into times where it could be ‘the best of times’ or ‘the worst of times’. We get to choose whom we will serve. As for Ken, myself and our house, we will serve the Lord. And He will protect us.

At sundown, 10 days from now, it will begin Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets. This is when the year changes on Hebraic calendar to the year 5776. In the Hebrew Aleph Bet, each letter is a number. For instance, Alef is the first letter and has the numerical value of 1. Tav is the last of the 22 letters and has the value of 400.

The Hebrew word for ‘perfection’ is shlaimut and the numeric value of the value of 776 (300+30+40+6+400=776)

Some other phrases that add up to 776 are as follows:

  • Mal 3:7, come back to Me, and I will come back to you=776
  • Jer 3:22, come back to Me, you fatherless children of Israel=776
  • The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob=776
  • The kingdom of David will be for the eternal world=776
  • The kingdom of God will be forever=776
  • The last Kingdom =776
  • The Coming of the Messiah=776

We should always prepare our hearts because none of us are guaranteed tomorrow. Prepare to meet Him ever day, but more so as the days come closer to His appearing. Our nation is facing some very serious times as our leaders make decisions that put us in harm’s way.

Let us all follow Moses’ example for the days we are in and stand in the gap for our nation and Israel.
