Sunday night, June 13, 2021, Israel began the 36th government in 73 years. As this was happening, I was in a service in Webster, TX at Praise Chapel with special guest speaker Apostle Tim Sheets. What was happening in Israel was not on my mind because I was captivated with the message of the hour that Apostle Sheets brought forth.

One thing he shared was that he was awakened from sound sleep with someone saying “Naftali”. He awoke and his wife was asleep so he thought he was just hearing things. This was repeated 2 more times and then he realized his angel was bringing him a message. He got up and began to search the scriptures for Naftali and found some amazing things. I will not repeat word for word what he shared since you are able to back and watch that message on FaceBook or Praise Chapel website replays on http://www.PraiseChapelHouston.com.

What I want to share is that this message got me on alert. In 2009 I taught the Tribes of Israel study series in several cities and with my Bible Study group. We all started out with empty 3 ring binders, which ended up being very full after the series.

I will get to what this new government and what if find the Tribes teaching reveal, but first I want to share what the numbers are speaking. In the Hebraic, every letter is a number, a sound and a symbol. Also, in Hebrew there is no word for coincidence – everything means something.

The number 36 in the Hebraic is a combination of 2 letters: LAMED – number 30, symbol of a staff and meaning to go forward, to prod. VAV – number 6, symbol of a peg and meaning make secure, joining together, becoming bound. Together they complete what I see is the intention for Israel to form a government after 4 failed elections in the past 2 years. They have not been able to go forward (lamed) with a completed government and make secure (vav) the nation of Israel until last Sunday night when “NAFTALI Bennet” was sworn is as the 13th Prime Minister of Israel. This replaced the 12th PM that served the last 12 years, “BENJAMIN Netanyahu” (15 yrs total, 12 consecutive).

12 is a prime number of government. In E.W. Bullinger’s classic book, Number is Scripture he wrote about number 12. “It is a perfect number, signifying perfection in government, or of governmental perfection.” He shares how many things that “rule” are found with 12, such as the Sun rules the day, the Moon and stars govern the night. There are 12 constellations that complete the great circle in the heavens and share the story of Jesus first Coming to his Second Coming. In the Bible we find 12 Patriarchs, 12 Tribes, 12 Disciples. The 36th government is like a 3-fold government, or 3rd-Day completion. There is so much about numbers in Scripture that there was an entire book of the Torah named Numbers! I will let you meditate on that as I get to the Tribes.

Looking at the Tribes of Benjamin and Naphtali. What I want to bring out is when I noticed yesterday that the 12th and 13th Prime Ministers names began with names of a Tribe I began to get very excited.

Benjamin was the 12th son of Jacob and 2nd son of Rachel. This Tribe was almost entirely wiped out because of homosexuality. Benjamin Netanyahu never heralded the LBGTQ agenda, but he never spoke out publicly from his leadership of God’s covenant nation’s government leader regarding the homosexual agenda in Israel. During his time Tel Aviv became the #1 gay friendly city in the world, with Berlin Germany coming in 2nd.

Today, the Tribe of Benjamin could represent the Church. This was the only son born out of the bondage to Laban and the only son born in the Promised Land. Jacob called him, “Son of my right hand’, and the Church is seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Eph 1:20). His strengths were he was loved by God, protected, abundant grace, mighty warriors came from his lineage (King Saul, Paul the Apostle, Esther and Mordecai). But the Tribe was almost wiped out in Judges 19 and 20, chapters I have labeled in my Bible being ‘the worst story every’. But God! This tribe became might warriors.

The symbol of the Tribe of Benjamin is ‘wolf’. In the Forgotten Books of Eden, each of the sons of Israel on their deathbed brought forth last words to their sons. One of the things that caught my eye was in Chapter 3, verse 25, Benjamin states, “And I shall no longer be called a ravening wolf on account of your ravages, but a worker of the Lord distributing food to then that work what is good.” Benjamin was very prophetic looking forward to the ministry, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The 12 years that Benjamin Netanyahu was Prime Minister, the nation thrived and grew. There were many struggles, but he was a great friend of the Church at large, but did not stand strong with the Messianic Jews in Israel. His main government support came from ultra Orthodox parties in Israel.

Naftali (Naphtali Gen 30:8) was the 6th son of Jacob and 2nd son of Rachel’s handmaiden Bilhah. His name means “wrestlings”, for Rachel said, ““With great wrestlings I have wrestled with my sister, and indeed I have prevailed.” The tribal symbol of Naphtali was “a hind”, which is fitting for him. In the Forgotten Books of Eden he is called ‘the Runner’. One of the characteristics of a hind, which is a female red deer, is they have no gall bladder. There is no ‘gall of bitterness’ in the hind and that was made known in the history of this Tribe. Great intercessors came from this tribe because they carried no bitterness.

Great leaders that come from the tribe of Naphtali are Barak (Judges 4-5) and Hiram (I Kings 7:13-14). Barak was known for working with Deborah and did not have a problem with women in authority, which is a good thing because the Israel Knesset has the highest number of women in the 36th Israeli government. (Hopefully these women are not going to be like the US Squad ladies.) Hiram is very interesting because Solomon highlighted him for the work of the Temple, “he was filled with wisdom and understanding and skill in working with all kinds of bronze work. So he came to King Solomon and did all his work.” Naftali Bennett too has been skilled with wisdom and understanding. He sold his startup company in 1999 for $245 million dollars and went to become the Chief of Staff for Benjamin Netanyahu for 7 years before starting his own party in 2008.

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is the only Prime Minister ever to wear a kippah, the Jewish round hat that stays on his bald head. It is said that he is the most religious leader since the Temple. He is an Orthodox Jew and believes in the God of Israel. His party is the smallest ever with only 7 members of the Lapid party in the government, which is a miracle that they were able to win. This new Knesset also has the first ever Israeli Arab party in the government, which causes great concern to many that the nation could become divided.

I don’t know what this 36th government will do, but I will be watching and praying for God’s covenant Land and His covenant people. Genesis 12 promises that those who bless the generations of Abraham will be blessed. And I am definitely going to go back into the study of the Tribe of Naphtali.

In these Last of the Last Days, things hidden in the books of the Old Testament are repeating itself now. (Ecc 1:9) From the time of Ahab and Jezebel, there is only one of their dynasty to remain. Queen Athaliah. Jehu was the one who was able to take her down, we will see what Israel does in the days to come.
