Sunday night, January 20 over North and South America there will be a full moon, that is also a Super Moon, that is also a Wolf Moon.  This Part 1 will deal with the specifics of the eclipse. Part 2 will deal with the significance of it being over the United States in the specific time period of chaos we are experiencing.

The partial eclipse begins at 10:34 p.m. CST, total eclipse begins at 10:41 p.m. CST, totality ends at 11:44 a.m. CST, partial eclipse ends at 12:51 a.m. CST. There will be totality for 62 minutes. Below are some of the very unusual things about this Total Lunar Eclipse.

  • The last Super Blood Moon for 18 years.
  • Wolf Moon – this is a Native Indian term for the first full moon of the year (January) when it is frozen in the north and the wolves howl out of hunger.
    • Last year, January 1, 2018 was a Super Wolf Moon
    • It was interesting that the networks in the United States were all talking about Michael Wolff’s new book that was being released, ‘Fire and Fury’.
    • The interesting thing about wolves is they travel in pack, eat flesh, brutal, fierce and tear their prey to pieces – this is exactly the intention of this book.
    • Coincidence? There is no Hebrew word for coincidence.
  • Super Moon – perigee, closest to the earth. This will come within 90% of its closest approach to the Earth
    • 2017-2018 saw 3 super moons in 60 days- VERY UNUSUAL
    • Dec 2-3, 2017, Super Moon
    • Jan 1, 2018, Super Wolf Moon
    • Jan 31, 2018, Super Blue Blood Moon (named blue because of 2 full moons in one month.
  • This year there will be 3 Super Moons in a row
    • January 20, 2019 – Super Blood Wolf Moon
    • February 19, 2019
    • March 21, 2019 – Feast of Purim
  • We get two to five supermoons every year but not normally 3 in a row. The gap between blood moons is anywhere from six months to about three years. You can also plan on around one to five super blood moons each decade, but they only fall in January three times this century with the 3rd and final being Jan. 31, 2037.
  • Total Lunar Eclipse – the only one of 2019
  • First total Eclipse seen over both North and South America in 17 years
    • Next will be May 26, 2021
  • The moon will eclipse in the constellation The Crab – Cancer
    • In Biblical Astronomy this constellation reveals “Messiah’s Redeemed Possessions Held Fast.”
    • The position of the moon will be in the center of the constellation by a group of 45 stars that make it look like 1 huge star. That is all the “Beehive”
    • Last year’s Super Blue Blood Moon January 31, 2018 the moon was positioned in Cancer’s claws
  • Both Super Blood Moons of January 31, 2018 and January 20, 2019 fall on the Hebrew New Year of the Trees, Tu B’Shevat
    • Leviticus 19:23-25; 26:3-4
    • Luke 21:29, Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree (Israel), and all the trees (nations of prophecy)
    • Watch the prophetic nations lining up, especially watch Syria and Damascus (Is 17:1)
    • This is NO COINCIDENCE – this is a major sign!

Tomorrow I will bring Part 2 and I will ask this question, “What is the Hebrew word for coincidence?” To which the reply is, there is none.

If this Wolf Moon is in January would that mean it’s at the end of the year since biblically the year begins in March/April?

    • mbostrom2 says:

The Wolf Moon is always in January. It is the first full moon of the year. In 2018 the Wolf Moon was January 1.

But this year on the Hebrew calendar it is a Leap Year so they will have 2 months of Adar. Feb 5 at sundown begins Adar 1/A.
